Acme Full-Vision No. 6 Gas Mask
The Acme Full-Vision No. 6 Gas Mask was made of black rubber and featured two large triangular glass lenses, with a small filter canister attached directly to the chin. It was used for both law enforcement and industrial purposes. The top example is equipped with a Chin Style No. 101 Military Canister filter for use with CN and CS Tear Gas, and was made by Scott Aviation in 1970. The bottom example was from the Newark, NJ Police Department, and included a Chin Style 282-OVAG-R Canister for protection only in Organic Vapors, Acid Gases including Organic Phosphates and Chlorinated Organic Pesticides. This mask was made by Scott Aviation in 1967.
