French ARF-A
The French ARF-A, or A.N.P. VP F1, was introduced in the 1990's to replace the A.N.P. M-51/M-53. They were made of hard black or khaki rubber with a single plastic panoramic lens. These examples were made in 1995 and 1996.
ARF-A = Appareil Respiratoire Filtrant des Armées = "Army Filtering Breathing Apparatus"
A.N.P. VP F1 = Appareil Normal de Protection à Visière Panoramique Mle F1 - "Normal Protection Apparatus with Panoramic Visor, Model F1"
